Who I Am

My name is Otilia Andreea Mutu. I am a Romanian woman living in the United Kingdom, where my life today is very different from the one I once knew.

Between the ages of 18 and 29, I lived through relationships marked by domestic abuse, physical, verbal and financial. Eleven years in which I lost sight of who I was. Today I stand as an entrepreneur, a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, an affiliate member of the National Association of Licensed Paralegals, an author, and a public voice for women who have not yet found their own.

What I Do

I am the Initiator and CEO of Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC, a UK organisation supporting Romanian speaking communities affected by domestic abuse. We work entirely online and take cases across every local authority in the United Kingdom, from protection orders and MARAC referrals to housing, benefits and family proceedings.

I am also the CEO of OtiPro Ltd, a London based lifestyle and support services company, recognised in 2026 at the Prestige Awards as Hospitality Staffing Specialists of the Year in West London.

Alongside this, I write and speak. My book "Beyond Fear" was published in 2025, and I host the podcast of the same name, where real stories are told without filters and without shame.

Why It Matters

Financial independence is not a luxury. It is the position from which a woman can say no. Everything I build, the organisation, the business, the book, the training I deliver, comes back to that one idea.
