Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC is a community interest company supporting Romanian-speaking survivors of domestic abuse in the UK, with advocacy, guidance and a safe space to be heard.
What we do
Specialist support for Romanian-speaking survivors
Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC was founded to address a critical gap: Romanian-speaking survivors of domestic abuse in the UK often face language barriers, cultural isolation and a lack of culturally competent support. We exist to change that.
Led by Otilia A. Mutu, a qualified IDVA, our work combines independent domestic violence advocacy with community outreach, education and empowerment.
Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA)
Qualified IDVA support for survivors at high risk, helping them navigate the criminal justice system, housing, and safety planning.
Community outreach
Reaching Romanian-speaking communities across the UK to raise awareness of domestic abuse and available support.
Education and training
Delivering training to professionals and community members on recognising and responding to domestic abuse in Romanian-speaking communities.
Empowerment programmes
Supporting survivors to rebuild their lives with confidence, through peer support, skills development and access to resources.
Who we help
You do not have to face this alone
We support Romanian-speaking adults and families in the UK who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. You do not need to have reported to the police. You do not need to have left. We meet you where you are.

Self-referrals are welcome. You do not need a professional to refer you.
