Vei găsi poveşti reale, semnele pe care e bine să le recunoşti la timp, exerciții şi paşi mici, dar concreți, inclusiv despre cum pleci atunci când simți că nu ai unde şi nici cu ce. Şi o frază pe care vreau să o porți cu tine în fiecare zi: Eu sunt propria mea victorie.

Beyond Fear

"Beyond Fear" is not a textbook, and it is not a story with a fairy-tale ending. It is a long letter, written from my own experience, to every woman who feels held back by a person, a relationship or her own thoughts. I write about the fear that keeps you silent, the words that hurt more than blows, the children who see and hear everything, and the shame that stops you from asking for help. You will find real stories, the warning signs worth recognising early, and small but practical steps towards a life of your own. And one line I want you to carry with you every day: I am my own victory.

About the author

Otilia A. Mutu is a qualified IDVA, initiator of Lotus Justice & Support Centre CIC, and public speaker on domestic abuse in Romanian-speaking communities.
